In the 19th century, The Maldives was a hub of the shell currency trade and the Money Cowrie was at the epicentre. The shells of these little molluscs were harvested on palm fronds, submerged in shallow lagoons.
Uninhibited and yet refined, this notebook is a beautiful blend of classic style with fresh rustic island elements. Take a bit of Maldivian calm into your workspace with our Leatherette Notebook, for all your notes, thoughts, ideas, sketches & lists.

This is a glue-set jewelry piece. When gemstones are set without prongs, they need help staying in place. This is usually done with glue, epoxy or resin. While every effort is made to ensure the stone is afixed strongly, glue-set pieces require a bit more TLC to ensure the stone does not come loose. Frequent contact with liquids can cause the glue to break-down. If the bracelet falls or has an impact with another object, the stone may come loose.
Casted from hand-drawn Maldivian elements, our keychains are fashioned to keep your keys in place, in a durable enamel and alloy metal finish. Features a split keyring & large lobster claw for added functionality.
